The two pieces below are brand new carvings
I'm currently working on (July 2010). Both pieces are already sold. The Bald Eagle was sold at Summerfair Cincinnati
in early June. I was hand carving on this bird at the three day show. The Pileated Woodpecker was sold at the Walk in the
Woods art fair in St. Germain in late June.
The Pileated Woodpecker is carved from birch. The Bald Eagle is carved from
butternut. I added a small amount of color to the two carvings to better show where they are headed. Final painting will start
next week.
Other carvings in the works will be posted soon. They include a Barred Owl, and two Great Gray Owls.
