Anne from Cincinnati holding one of my oak carvings.
She was brave enough to try carving some feathers with me at the 3 day show. Anne named the owl White Rain. A lucky carving
going to the home of such a sweet young lady. Thank you Anne for being a fan of my work! The Summerfair Cincinnati art
show was held June 4th-6th. It was my first time at this major art fair. I was pleased with the quality of the
vendors, the attendance and the sales that resulted from my journey to Cincinnati. Thanks to Jim and Kathy too for your hospitality.

I exhibited at
the 3rd annual WALK IN THE WOODS art fair on June 12, 2010.
The
art fair was held in the park behind the St. Germain Chamber of Commerce, this fine arts show featured a select
group of Wisconsin artists, plus wine & cheese tasting and live music by Bret & Frisk. The day provided cool temps
but no rain. I sold two of my new pieces... a Pileated Woodpecker and a natural wood stained Barred Owl.
I brought a number of new woodcarvings to the early June art fairs. Some of the new pieces included a Great Gray Owl,
a Snowy Owl, a Boreal Owl, a Barn Owl, a Northern Hawk Owl, a Barred Owl, a Bald Eagle and a Peregrine Falcon.

I exhibited at the 38th annual ARTARAMA art fair on July 17, 2010. As in
years past, this art fair was held at Riverside Park in Eagle River. This is a large juried art
fair with 125 top quality exhibitors. We couldn't have asked for better weather. A great day to be living in the Northwoods!

| August 28 & 29, 2010 |
This year's
41st art fair took place August 28-29, 2010 beneath
the canopy of century-old oaks aside Lake Ellyn. The Glen Ellyn Lions once again hosted the Annual Festival of the Arts. This
was my final art fair of the 2010 summer season. I sold one of my newer pieces... a Northern Hawk Owl. But the best part of
the show was meeting so many wonderful people who shared some time with me. Late on Sunday afternoon I was introduced
to a young boy named Elihu by his father on the last day of the show. Elihu is only 7 years old, but an amazing young
boy. He knew the correct bird name of every carving in my booth. He could tell me the size of each species. And he had the
special talent of knowing the correct call of every bird I had on display plus a hundred other birds. This young
boy ran his fingers over the carved feathers of my Bald Eagle carving (and other carvings) as if he was testing
the feathers for correctness. He made me smile. He made me laugh. I couldn't believe the knowledge of
birds he had at such a young age. Thank you Elihu! I hope we meet again someday,Festival of the Arts
